A few days ago , fire broke out on the slopes of Africa’s highest peak Mount Kilimanjaro . officials thought the fire was under control ,but now the fire continues to wreak havoc on the mountain slope. The Blaze started on Friday evening ,near the camp karanga site . the site is used by climbers, ascending the mountain at about 4000 meters altitude on the southern side of the mountain.
Although some 400 people started trying to contain the players , but as the high winds passed through these slopes, it held reigniting the fire .which the official thought was under control, moreover the fire was also recorded in other parts of the mountain . as the winds passed by in addition to this, so far no injuries or deaths have been reported from these fires.
They said we are still battling the fire, so far we have succeeded in putting out the second blaze of the three now. the whole team will start focusing on fighting the third fire . which is the last one . we are praying that the weather will continue to be friendly for us to succeed because authorities are yet to comment on the extent of damage , or what caused the fire to start in the first place, but the scientists say the risk of the wildfires is only growing around the world.
