The EC7 from EV manufacturer NIO has been unveiled for the international markets with a starting price of CNY 488,000. It is a luxury-oriented coupe SUV with a lounge-style Ottoman seat for the front passenger and a remarkable range of up to 920 kilometres on a single charge. Mid-2023 is the anticipated start date for deliveries.

The 2023 EC7 is the company’s newest electric vehicle, and it is largely aimed at the Audi Q8 e-tron market.
The 2023 NIO EC7 has a powerful shark-nose closed-off grille, bumper-mounted LED headlights, split-type DRLs, a muscular bonnet, and a broad air dam. It adheres to the brand’s future design philosophy.
The EV is surrounded on the sides by designer alloy wheels, flush-fitted door handles, and ORVMs mounted with indicators.
The rear end has a shark-fin antenna, linked LED taillights, and a pop-out rear wing.
The 2023 NIO EC7 uses a dual electric motor layout with an all-wheel drive system and either a 75kWh, 100kWh, or 150kWh battery pack to provide power. With the top-of-the-line 150kWh battery pack, the EV claims a maximum driving range of up to 920km.
The 2023 NIO EC7 has a five-seater, opulent interior with leather upholstery, an innovative electrochromic glass roof, an Ottoman-style front passenger seat, reclining back seats, multi-zone climate control, and a leather-wrapped steering wheel. It has an integrated “NOMI” robotic assistant, a free-standing infotainment panel, and a digital instrument cluster. Several airbags and LiDAR-based ADAS features protect the occupants.
The 2023 NIO EC7 has a starting price of CNY 488,000 for the basic model and a maximum price of CNY 578,000 for the highest trim level in China. Beginning deliveries is anticipated for mid-2023.
