A Tribute Edition of the Kia Stinger Says Goodbye to a Legendary Sport Sedan

The new KIA Stinger Tribute Edition has been unveiled by Kia.

The Kia Stinger is a truly amazing vehicle. This prize-winning sport sedan came from Kia, a Korean automaker known for its robust warranties and family-friendly transportation, which was the most unlikely source at the time. Although it was pretty darn fantastic, nothing in this life is permanent. The Stinger is about to leave the market, but Kia still has one last move up its sleeve.

The Stinger Tribute Edition was unveiled by Kia last week. The Tribute Edition, based on a V6 GT trim, will only be produced in 1,000 pieces. Externally, the body is painted Ascot Green, while a matte grey finish is also an option. There are a few more exterior accents, such as 19-inch gloss black alloy wheels and black Brembo brake callipers also black side-mirror housings.

Also, the interior is given considerable attention. The door trim, door handles, and steering wheel are also covered in a distinctive brown leather that matches the sport seats. A carbon-style finish is applied to the console’s upper portion and extends to the door panels. A numbered door-sill plate is also present to serve as a reminder that you have acquired one of the few Stingers left in existence.

Internally, the sports seats, steering wheel, and door side trim are all covered in exclusive Terracotta leather.

To go along with the new Terracotta leather trim, Kia’s designers gave the door panels and upper cover of the console a carbon-effect finish.

Unexpectedly, Kia unveiled a brand-new wasp-shaped symbol for the Stinger Tribute Edition as well. It seems strange to introduce a new emblem at the conclusion of a car’s manufacturing, but better late than never, right?

Unfortunately, the headrests are the only place the Stinger’s new emblem is visible.

Buyers will be able to purchase the Kia Stinger Tribute Edition in 2023. Although the price has not yet been disclosed, a 2023 Stinger GT2 with the same V6 starts at roughly $52,000.

The Tribute Edition, which is limited to just 1,000 units globally, honours Kia’s high-performance goal.

The Stinger Tribute Edition is available in either the new Moonscape matte grey paint or the existing Ascot Green paint finish, both of which are based on the Stinger’s 3.3-liter twin-turbocharged V6 GT specifications.

The sleek outside mirror housing, the dark Brembo brake callipers, and the expressive 19-inch gloss black design wheels all have a sophisticated black finish.
