Now after wreaking havoc for weeks , the

weather in the U.S state of California

has calmed down a notch, but the flood

waters continue to create problems for

the expanse. in Southern California San

Diego River has now swelled up with

weeks of rain water, and has flooded the

city. in Orange County south of Los

Angeles some beachfront homes and

streets were inundated by sea water

early on Tuesday . according to the

officials at least about 20 people have

been killed due to the storms in the

state.

and the mountains of Sierra Nevada , heavy

snow and strong winds brought

white out conditions that also led to

the closure of roads in some areas.

according to the University of

California, Berkeley Central Sierra snow

lab snowfall in the Sierras it in fact

topped 21 inches as of Saturday, with

about 10 feet of snow already on the

ground and a few more inches being

expected in the coming days.

American president joban will visit

California later this week to meet First

Responders in the affected areas ,and

also will try Galvanize any additional

federal aid that may be needed.

meanwhile the national weather service

has said that there will be a short of

precipitation from Wednesday till

Thursday followed by a dry period.

forecasters have cautioned it although

the midweek rainfall will be light, it

would not be enough to cause problems

because the state is already saturated.
