FIFA WORLD CUP 2022 | SWITZERLAND VS CAMEROON |

2022 Euro quarter finalists Switzerland

take on Cameroon later today, as both

teams get their World Cup campaign

underway . the two sides have never met

before and three points will be very

crucial. as Group G also features Brazil,

who are expected to be top at the end of

the first phase . Switzerland are making

their fourth consecutive World Cup

appearance and have always been a

well-organized team.

they went unbeaten through their

European qualifying group, and this is

significant as the European Champions.

Italy were the favorites to go through

their Captain has been integral to

Arsenal’s lead. at the top of the Premier

League table and the likes of zeldan

shaqiri rimo froiler Fabian Shar and

Manuel akanji are proven customers at

the top level.

we have a great team spirit , a team

spirit that has been built for the last

couple of years .football wise we have

improved as well we have improved a lot.

and now we want to write history , it’s

clear that it is why, we are here ,we are

not only here to participate but we are

also here to win.

the indomitable Lions have been

struggling for form .since reaching the

Africa Cup of Nations semi-finals at

home earlier this year. winning just one

of their last five matches , this is

cameroon’s eighth World Cup appearance .

but they also missed out on the previous

Edition in Russia and haven’t progressed

from the group stage . since the Roger

Miller inspired heroics in 1990 despite

the presence of iron Munich forward Eric.

Maxim choppo,

Cameroon are the fourth lowest ranked

side in the entire tournament . but those

rankings haven’t counted for much so far

in the tournament.

so the FIFA ranking doesn’t matter but

the pitch does, we respect our opponents

and Cameroon are not newcomers in this

competition . we’ve always been

participating in the World Cup . we know

very well what to expect. so tomorrow

we’ll see whether we will be judged

based on our ranking , or on something

else.
