Farmers in Illinois are adopting regenerative agricultural techniques. To reduce emissions attract pollinators and improve soil health. this farming technique includes ensuring that the soil is thriving by reducing plowing or fewer synthetic chemicals and fertilizers, that can degrade soil over time. this type of farming has its roots in indigenous cultures and looks different depending on the crops or livestock being farmed.  several food companies including the Swiss conglomerate Nestle is supporting the transition to regenerative farming in America.

If you can’t change then you won’t be around very long. it’s the way things work. Environmental Protection agencies say that the agriculture sector is responsible for 11 of US greenhouse gas emissions. which is nearly as much as the emissions from commercial buildings . they added that food companies have realized that they must act after witnessing extreme temperatures caused by climate change.
