The emergence of chat GPT tool has
triggered a debate over the limits of
the technology , and now UK prime minister
Rishi sunak and Microsoft co-founder
Bill Gates have jumped into the debate.
sooner Campbell Gates answered an array
of questions put both by the AI tool,
from advice to their younger selves to
the job description they would like to
give an AI . now the first question was
about the impact of technology on global
economy and job market in the next 10
years. to which Bill Gates said that more
work is required in labor shortage in
healthcare and in education and he hopes
that AI can help organizations to be
more efficient .
meanwhile beta testers with access to
being AI found some strange issues with
Microsoft but , the chatbot made threats
insisted it was right when it was
factually wrong and even declared love
for its users . as the technology steps
closer to real life concerns among users
scientists and Engineers are mounting
about its safety.
ChatGPT may have taken the
Internet by storm but it’s now in
trouble we are saying it because the AI
powered chatbot is leaving people
unsettled . recently Microsoft announced
the integration of chat GPT into its
Bing search engine , it now seems that
users are not pleased with ai’s
responses . in other words we are seeing
the Dark Side of chat GPT . the chatbot is
threatening threats , it’s advising users
to break up their marriages . the AI
powered chatbot is even mimicking
emotions of Love, displeasure and anger.
it expressing desires to steal nuclear
code and create a deadly virus. not just
that it’s even comparing users to Adolf
Hitler , some are saying it’s been too
belligerent in other words the new a
bing with built-in chat GPT is being
labeled as creepy , harmful and dangerous.
the chatbot giving incorrect responses
at times is understandable , as it’s not a
serious concern but threatening users
and giving offensive suggestions is a
fundamental problem . Microsoft is now
aiming to tame the AI chatbot . we need to
understand AI systems can be misused or
abused if they are not designed with
appropriate safeguards . Bad actors are
always out there to misuse the
technology . therefore many believe that
AI Technologies like chat chip GPT
should be subject to strict oversight
